Septic Tanks and HSTP’s require regular inspections, servicing and maintenance to ensure that they are in good working order.

Septic Tanks should be inspected yearly and will generally require pump out every 3-5 years. 

House Sewerage Treatment Plants (HSTP’s) require servicing at different intervals depending on their make/model. Generally they require servicing quarterly or annually. Servicing must be completed by a Licensed Service Agent and service reports must be lodged with the Council in which the HSTP is located. 

HC Plumbing are able to service your system irrespective of its brand - whether it be a Taylex, Super Treat, sand filter, bio system, greywater system or any generic waste water system - which is especially handy if you aren’t sure what brand your system is! We are also the Ozzi Kleen specialists in the Toowoomba & Darling Downs region.

HC Plumbing likes to make the servicing of your septic or HSTP as easy and cost effective for you as possible. We do this by entering into a fixed price service agreement with you, where we confirm a set fee for your standard monthly, quarterly or annual service. We then add you to a service run, when we are servicing other septic's/HSTP’s in your area - by doing this, we can offer you a service without having to charge our regular travel fee from Toowoomba City. Generally the service fee ranges from $90 to $130 per visit within the Toowoomba region - and may be more if you are further afield (please note: GST is NOT chargeable on these invoices), we will automatically attend each month/quarter/annum as required, but will send you a text message approximately 1 week prior to servicing to give you the option to opt out if you so wish. 

In addition to the scheduled servicing, HC Plumbing can look after you in the unfortunate situation that you have a breakdown of your system. If you notice that your system just isn’t operating the way it should, or you start to have toilet and drain issues it is important to address them sooner rather than later.
